How we treat problems

We diagnose and treat an extensive range of foot and postural problems

Treatments include biomechanical assessment, which may be followed by orthotic prescription, or other types of foot care.

Biomechanical assessment

  • Podiatric management of the foot and lower limb – alignment and movement.
  • A biomechanical assessment includes specific foot and leg measurements, digital video gait analysis using Silicon Coach software and computerised foot pressure analysis.

Orthotic prescription

  • In shoe prescription, orthotic devices are used to control foot mechanics and encourage optimal lower limb alignment, and to assist in alleviating the pain caused by abnormal foot and lower limb alignment.
